Court issues warrant of arrest against Annabelle Rama

Quezon City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 92 Judge Eleuterio Bersan issued a warrant of arrest against Annabelle Rama, today, June 11.
This is with regard to 14 counts of libel filed against her by former actress Nadia Montenegro.
The case started when Annbelle allegedly started addressing Nadia with defamatory statements like "piggy", statements suggesting that Nadia had an affair with another man and tweets talking about her failure to pay debts.
However, reports said Judge Bersan recommended bail amounting to P140,000, or P10,000 for each count of libel.
