Kevyn Lettau - What is Enough?
What is Enough?

Since getting her big break through legendary Brazilian artist and bandleader Sergio Mendez, Kevyn Lettau has come along way with ten albums under her belt, critical acclaim and loyal following in the United States and abroad especially the Philippines. She will be best remembered for her massive hit "Sunlight."

Lettau is back with a brand new album "What is Enough?" working with long-time collaborator, guitarist Peter Sprague.

Peter and I have played music together for over 30 years. Our first group was called The Dance of the Universe Orchestra and we made a recording entitled "You Make Me Wanna Sing" that really stirred things up for us in San Diego. This led to many concerts and other recording deals that embraced our definition of jazz which included jazz standards along with our love of Brasilian music. With the release of "What Is Enough?" we...

Diana Krall - Quiet Nights
Quiet Nights

Some music is intended to paint a romantic scene - a candlelit dinner, a walk along a moonlit beach. Quiet Nights – Diana Krall’s twelfth album - ain’t about that. Using Brazil as a musical point of reference, the award-winning pianist and singer is not suggesting a night out; she means to stay in.

"It’s a sensual, downright erotic record and it's intended to be that way."

Krall is the first to credit the...

Melody Gardot - My One And Only Thrill
My One And Only Thrill

Amazing though it is, the story of how Melody Gardot overcame the effects of a near-fatal accident to become one of the vocal sensations of 2008 is not the most extraordinary thing about the 23-year-old Philadelphia singer-songwriter. It is simply that here is a voice in a million ; one that touches the soul.

A year ago, much of the discussion about Melody Gardot centred on the way she’d recovered from a terrible road accident and had used music as a therapeutic lifeline. But with My One And Only Thrill, the sole topics of conversation are going to be her musicianship, her songwriting and her astonishing artistic growth. Ladies and gents, a star is born.

Melody’s debut album ‘Worrisome Heart’ introduced, in The Sunday Times ’ words: "a remarkable talent by any measure", with songs of quiet, wistful poetry in arrangements that "ooze after-hours...
