The National Telecommunications Commission has released a new set of rules regarding the expiration of prepaid credit for cellphones. Under the new rules, prepaid credit worth 10 pesos or less will be valid up to three days upon purchase. Load worth 11 to 50 pesos will expire after 15 days; 51 to 100 pesos, after 30 days. Meanwhile, a 300 peso load will expire after 75 days, and a 500 peso load can last up to 120 days. The new rules are to be made public tomorrow, and telecommunications firms are required to comply with them after 15 days.
